His Her Stories….

This exhibition has sort of ‘alumni meeting’ like attitude and shows gratitude about artist who has been with me until nowadays.

I’ve come to understand Chinese artists through the process of organizing exhibition and art related events in China. It was my pleasure working with them and deeply moved by their sincere attitude toward my clumsy Chinese. At this time, I would love to listen to their conversation carefully. And their stories will be delivered to Korea and many other places.

I recommend you to take a part of the invisible conversation between his her stories. Not the forced point of view by critics, decorated by the name of Contemporary Art, but the casual talking as to friend of yours.

These stories will stand in for him and her works. These stories will also talk to another stories, other artists, you, and me, and go on.


此次展览的主题可以简要地概括为“同学会”。

如同“同学会”的寓意一样，本次展览饱含着我与艺术家朋友们聚集在一起的希寄。

 

此次展览并非从灵感出发，而是当我习惯性地准备下一个展览的时候，不由得回顾了我的工作以及自我。一直以来展览都是先确定主题，之后根据主题来选择作品。所以我一直没有机会和某些很喜欢的艺术家合作。某一天，突然产生了一些疑问：艺术究竟是什么？什么是主题？我作为策划者，是不是应该给观众和艺术家带来某些感动及故事？我在策划时没有灵感而举办的展览能够了解这一切吗？

 

这次展览不仅让我和我的朋友们聚集在一起，也同时让我有了机会可以去聆听他们讲述的故事。参观者虽然只是欣赏作品，但是通过仔细鉴赏就能了解到艺术家本人。他们的爱情、生活、过去、未来、还有现在，所有这些正是History作为展览主题的缘由。

 

在与中国艺术家共事的过程中，我经常得到他们的理解。当我看到他们很用心地听我说着不熟练的中文的时候，我非常感动。这次我想来聆听他们的故事、他们的心声。我要把他们的故事和心声带到韩国及其他国家.

 

此次参展的作品，代替了作为艺术家的他、她，传递出各自的心声。这些心声通过各自的作品彼此间默默地交流。相信这声音也会传到我和你的心中。即使未来我和他们分开，相信我们之间的美好的谈笑回忆还会不时地回荡在我的脑海中。

 

我虽然不会进入大家的视线，但希望观众们可以沉醉于他们在MK2艺术空间的心声交流中。在现代美术的框架中，我并非要向各位观众强硬地传达展览亮点，而是希望通过他们的创作传达艺术家自己的声音，如同老朋友向你述说一样。

 

对于我来说，本届展览是由最美好,最感动的主题构思而成。

你们实现了我心中的一个愿望，最后我真心的感谢以“友”之名来参加此次展览的她们和他们。
